3 Features You Probably Didn’t Know Exist In Detrack
Did you know that you have the option to…
1) Set a timer to show deliveries to your drivers. This can help you to segregate your deliveries to be shown only at your defined time slots to your drivers. Find out more here.
2) Print the barcode image on your POD PDF should you require scanning to be done with the DO. Find out how here.
3) State the job fee on the POD PDF to let your customers know the amount they have paid for your delivery. Find out how here.
The above are just some of the latest features we’ve launched.
Meanwhile, on the backend, our team has been working relentlessly to scale and increase the reliability of the infrastructure of Detrack so that all our users can continue to enjoy maximum speed and availability for your daily operations.
We have in place dedicated servers performing the different functions of our applications; replicated in a high availability setup with no single point of failure. This means if any of our servers is to go offline, our load balancer will automatically redirect the requests to the online ones ensuring zero disruptions to service.
Our servers are handling about 70,000+ background jobs (and growing) per day and are capable of sending more than 130,000+ email notifications per hour. Even with these numbers, we are operating at only about 5% – 10% load based on our monitoring systems i.e. we are capable of handling about at least 600% – 700% of our current capacity without any issue.
We have also implemented the use of the industry leading Elasticsearch engine to process all our search requests. Search requests (through a database of even tens of thousands of records) will now only take mere seconds and also Search is now more sensitive and can be done even with partial keywords.
In our next mailer, we will launch a sneak peak of the new version of our Detrack App promising more than 15 new features including co-branding on the app, driver-to-driver job transfers, and open jobs for drivers to grab.
