How To Personalize Customer Email Notifications

In your admin dashboard, click on the Settings menu to the top right of the page to reveal a drop-down menu. Next, click on the Notifications option and a Notifications form will be shown.

Under the General Email Settings section, you can personalize what your customers see when they receive email notifications on their collections and deliveries. Here, you will be able to customize the From name, From email and Signature.

From email is the email address that your customers will see job notification emails being sent from. This is usually set to your sales email e.g.

From name is the name of the sender that your customers will see in the job notification emails. This is usually set to your company or service name.

Signature offers you an opportunity to sign off with a “thank you” to your customers at the bottom of the job notification emails. This is usually set to phrases such as:

  1. Thank you for your business!
  2. Thank you for choosing our company!
  3. Thank you for using our services and we look forward to serving you again!
  4. Thank you for shopping with us. We hope you come again soon!
  5. Thank you for buying our products. Feel free to contact us if you need any help installing or using our products.

Here, you will be able to insert your company logo in the email notification as well. In order to insert your company logo in the WYSIWYG (or HTML) editor, first, you will need to obtain your logo image url. It can be taken from your own company website by following the steps below:

  1. Go to your company website, find your company logo
  2. Right click on your company logo and select Copy Image URL

If you do not have a ready company logo image on your company website that can be copied, you will need to upload your image logo onto a free image hosting site before you can insert the logo onto the email notification.

To upload your image logo onto a free image hosting site,

  1. Go to
  2. Click Sign up and fill in the registration details
  3. Login into Flickr and click on Upload
  4. Click on Choose photos and videos
  5. Select your image logo file and click Open. The image will be uploaded onto the Flickr website
  6. Right click on your image logo and select Copy Image URL

In the WYSIWYG (or HTML) editor, click on the Insert/edit image icon  and the Insert/edit image Form will appear.

To insert the company logo,

  1. Paste the logo image url that you have just copied into the Source field
  2. Type in image description for your logo in the Image description field
  3. Click OK and the logo will be inserted into the WYSIWYG (or HTML) editor

Once you have completed customizing your email notification, click Save to save your email template.

Checking the Append D.O # to PDF POD file name allows you to include the D.O no. in the file name of PDF proof of delivery as an email attachment.

Checking the Display driver details in PDF POD allows you to display the details of the driver on the PDF proof of delivery.

Checking the Print serial no. barcode (Code 39) in PDF POD allows you to display the serial no. barcode on the PDF proof of delivery.

To add contents to your email notification, scroll down to Notifications section and click on the individual event to write your personalize your email to internal staffs or customers.
