This article is regarding the use of Geofence for Route Planning.
Geofence can be used to restrict the driver to jobs belonging to certain areas during route planning.
Jobs out of the driver’s assigned Geofence will not be assigned to the driver during route planning.

Vehicle Setup

There are 2 ways to assign Geofence/s to vehicle/s.

Vehicles tab

Navigate to Vehicles tab.

Click on the required Vehicle to open up the Vehicle form.

Select the required Geofence.

Click Save when done.

Routes tab
-
Navigate to Routes > Geofence.

Click the Edit button of the required Geofence.

Select the drivers.
-
Click Save when done.

General Route Settings Setup
-
Navigate to Routes > General Route Settings.

Select Geofences for Plan routes by.

Click Save when done.
Route Planning

Perform VRP route planning
-
Jobs will be assigned to the vehicles with the relevant Geofence.
