Aline TanFarah Nur Afrina
Senior Operations Executive
First things first, I’m someone who never dwells on failure.
“You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don’t try to forget the mistakes, but you don’t dwell on it. You don’t let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of you space.” – Johnny Cash
The late, great, Johnny Cash was a true musical genius and rebel who did some bad things in his life, but he also did a lot of good. Those lines of his have become a sort of credo for me – a constant reminder to keep pushing myself to excel and never, ever stop trying.
I find the most important aspect in life is being able to pull yourself together, focus on the task at hand, and find a solution no matter how many times you fail.
Others are often afraid to even try and sometimes are crippled striving for perfection.
Me? I keep on going because I know the faster I fail, the faster I’d learn.
I took a huge leap of faith this year and joined Detrack.
The company’s values, engaging culture and family-like atmosphere was evident the very first minute I stepped in the office.
Definitely a breath of fresh air.
As an Executive Officer, I’m given the autonomy to change things. Our awesome CEO gives us time, space, and most importantly, the opportunity to turn our ideas into reality.
At Detrack, I’m given the chance to focus on the small things, but from a wide range of perspectives. After all, people often overlook the small things that would eventually build up a trendsetter, a legacy. Focusing on the things that others don’t think of is the exact ingredient that could really make a difference.
I’m extremely glad to work and learn alongside an excellent and talented team that would never hesitate to share their expertise and experience, because I truly believe working in silos is highly ineffective as the world is rapidly evolving.
Successfully being selected for this coveted position over more than 200 candidates that applied, I feel blessed and will greatly treasure and make the best out of the opportunity to give my all for Detrack.
